Delete account and data

This page describes how Share Moments users (app developed by Sham) can delete their account and the personal data associated with it. You can do it yourself inside the app, or request it by email.

1. How to delete your account

From the app. Open Share Moments, go to Settings and tap “Delete account”. Confirm the action and your account is deleted immediately. If you signed in with Apple, you will be asked to authenticate with Apple again so the app’s access to your account can be revoked.

Alternative by email. If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion this way:

Step 1.Send an email to support@sham-app.store from the same Google or Apple account you use to sign in to Share Moments.

Step 2.Use “Delete my Share Moments account” as the subject and include the display name shown in the app.

Step 3.You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete. The process takes at most 30 days from the moment we receive your request.

2. What happens when you delete your account

• Your name, email address, profile picture and the link to your Google or Apple account are deleted.
• All your sessions and app access tokens are revoked.
• Events you organized are deleted for all participants, who lose access to them.
• You are removed from the events you joined as a guest.
• This action cannot be undone.

3. What data is kept, and for how long

The photos and videos you uploaded stop being shown immediately in every gallery, including events organized by other people. Their files are permanently deleted when the event’s active window ends, which is 72 hours (3 days) on the free plan and up to 7 days if the host bought a paid extension.

Purchase records are kept in anonymized form, with no link to your identity, for legal obligations and to handle refunds with the app stores. Your data may remain in database backups, which are deleted automatically after 7 days. After that period, we keep no other personal data of yours.
